I just finished watching Toy Story 3 and I have to say, doing a movie like that with 40k models - obviously NOT for children - would have to be the most hilariously epic things ever made. Would you watch it? What do you think it should be about? Discuss!

10'000 years ago, Terra was under siege. The Sons of Rogal Dorn stood firm at the gate, never letting an inch slip away so long as we drew breath. We were killed in droves defending the Emperor and his Imperium, and we killed many in turn. We defended the Emperor and his Imperium, and this is what it means to be a Fist

Scene one
"hey honey could you come downstairs?" said the boys mother setting out the table for him and his friend,
"fine" the boy said and levying his marine army, and his friend leaving his ork army hurried downstairs, eager to finish their game after dinner.
"Are em umies gone?" Whispered ghazgull thraka to the space marine grasped in his power klaw,
"uh, I guess" he said back, before getting crushed by the powerklaw in which he was being held."waaaaaaagh" gahzgull screamed, ripping his feet of the base he was stuck to. He saw his comrades doing the same, each one ripping their feet of their bases, some ladz were stuck, the super glue was to strong, they were shot a few seconds after, their guts spraying over the new board. ghazgull turned, and in his face was marnius, the leader of the ultra marines. In a scream of rage ghazgull lifted his shoota, spraying the bullets allover the field hitting nobody but a grot, who had fell and was dragging his still glued feet to the edge of the table. Marnius struck furst blowing hitting ghazgull in the face, denting his skull inward, before ripping apart his armor and tearing out his heart. "For the emperah!" he squealed,in his unusually high voice. But the orks around him stared for an instant at their fallen leader. "Die stoopid umie'!" and they ran headfirst into the enemy, chop pas swirling and shoot as dakkaing ( is that even a word?).
"cmon, let's get back to the game," and with that, the orks and marines heard the clud of humans running up the stairs. They all ran in different directions, the orks decided to play dead, and the marines all hoped in the storm raven, but sadly, there wasn't enough room, and the moment it took of it's engines failed and it fell towards a heater quickly turning into a puddle of melted plastic and charred flesh.
The children never touched warhammer after they saw the rotting flesh and crusted blood on their table.
In other words it would be epic.
Scene two would feature the nids having a tea party with the IG, games workshop has got these guys wrong

Every time I hear "EPIC!" or "WIN!" outside their original uses, I feel a little ill. This thread has already made me throw up.
A movie where 40k models and such come to life is an entertaining enough concept, but I wouldn't want Pixar to waste their time with it. They've got better movies to make. Also, Small Soldiers is a fun movie.

K, first of all... why the hostility? I apologize if this is another case of text not properly conveying tone, but if 'win' and 'epic' get under your skin, you probably shouldn't be navigating this forum. Or any forum for that matter.
Second of all, no one said anything about Pixar. I think the fact that this movie wouldn't be for kids would mean that Pixar would be the LAST studio to do this movie.

I would so watch that.
A Hive Tyrant model jumps out of the army box at a space marine commander model.
Commander: So Xenos Scum, we fight again!
The Hive Tyrant roars then its arms fall off.
Hive Tyrant: Frigging metal parts, why couldn't I be made out of plastic!
Commander: At least it's not your head this time, I'll get the glue

I actually don't hate them, I dislike their "by the book philosophy" but I can appreciate some of the order they have brought to the Astartes. I have about 10 Tacticals and a Dread painted in their colors and a very sharp Calgar w/ Honour guard for when I play C: SM.
But that movie was just terrible, if you think otherwise you're probably the one that is not thinking objectively. The comment was relevant because it was the most recent 40k movie.

I would certainly start watching it. Whether I continued would depend on whether it was any good or not. This is based on the following formula.
a+b=/=c
Where 'a' is 'thing I like,' 'b' is 'other thing that is good' and 'c' is 'awesome.' Were it to work like so:
a+b+c=x
...then 'x' represents a state in which I am made very happy and temporarily at peace with the world.
