2 questions.
1) Why is is that Grey Knights don't use Drop Pods?
2) Isn't teleportation in the fluff superior to drop pods?

Because they have Teleporters instead, and because they are usually used differently to regular Marine strike forces.
2) Isn't teleportation in the fluff superior to drop pods?
Yes and no. The technology is rare and a little unpredictable.

I think it's mostly for differentiation in-game. Just one more thing to make them a little different from regular Space Marines.

Also fluff wise, they probably don't want to be hurtling down to a daemon world in a drop pod while the ground beneath them is likely going to be different when they land to when they initially launched to that landing zone.
In this case, a little randomness in teleportation is probably safer than a drop pod.

I think logically (not that logic and 40K walk hand in hand in the moonlight very often) there's the fact that if you can teleport (which most space marines cannot), it's less wasteful of resources to do that. So I guess their standard doctrine (for an all GK force with no Inquisitorial Weaklings present) would be for everyone to teleport except for those arriving by Thunderhawk or Stormraven (dreadnaughts, Purifiers, Purgators, and any mechanised squads).
Drop pods are pretty much as random as teleportation so I can't see teleporting being any safer really -- in fact it's more dangerous for the first wave to teleport than drop pod. A sensible doctrine then would be for small 'pathfinder' squads to teleport in and take out key anti-aircraft installations not destroyed by bombardment, then first-strike forces to arrive by Stormravens (with teleport beacons) and Thunderhawks with teleporting units coming in the second wave (a sort of reverse-airborne operation with 'airmobile' forces preceding 'parachutists').'

Marines do re-use their drop pods you know....

And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.

Sure. But some will be damaged and destroyed in most drops. The enemy do shoot at them you know.

A) cause Teleportation is cooler, and it make shiny marines more shiny
B)Teleportation is Superior because it is cooler, and it make shiny marines more shiny
There is also the surprise of a instantaneous arrival, and being resistant to the warp helps. Other Marines may not fair so well . . . they might arrive with more than they left with.
