Another project transplanted from Warseer...
Back in February, Precinct Omega Studios and Mantic Games teamed up to raffle off the contents of the Morghoth's Revenge boxed set, with each of the two armies in the box - Undead and Dwarfs - going to a different winner. What with one thing and another it's taken us a while to get those armies painted, but the Undead are finally all done:
Right. Just got to finish the dwarfs, now...

What? Nothing? Well, here are some dwarf ironclads for your consideration:
EDIT - And pending any actual comment, here's a WIP shot of the Ironwatch:
The primer went bad on one side, making them a bit furry. It doesn't show so badly at arm's length. Remember kids: always shake your spray can thoroughly before spraying.

Finished the Ironwatch with Crossbows. Got two more regiments, a couple of characters and the warmachine still to go!

Like the painting - still not sure about the Mantic dwarfs though; there's just something about them that seems 'off' to me that I can't quite put my finger on. I had thought it was just seeing them only in pictures but, having seen them 'in the flesh' at salute, I'm still not sure...

I'll be doing a full review of the Mantic range in the next episode of the Precinct Omega HobbyCast, so you can hear my own thoughts - positive and negative - shortly.
In the mean time, here are the Shieldbreakers!

The Dwarf organ-gun (I forget the official Mantic name for this model) and crew:
And a couple of models we assembled to represent champions of various sorts:
