DOA makes Vanguard Veterans so much more reliable. As a Vanilla Marines player, I've never had the chance to use them yet, mostly due to the fact that they get very expensive. If I were a BA player though, I'd be much more inclined to play them more often.

I don't see why not. But if you're giving any of the Veterans Power Fists or Thunder Hammers, I'd avoid giving the MB's to those models specifically. Anyone with a Power Weapon or hitting at their normal initiative can get one. I'd also recommend getting a Relic Blade for the Sgt as well.
