Seems I forgot to do one of these here thingies awhile ago. My mistake, so I now deem myself, The Forgetful! Wait, that's a bad thing, huh?

Moving on...

So not much to know about me when it comes to Warhammer. I play 40K, though I have considered playing Tomb Kings (About a year ago) but then my only friend who played fantasy quite. So, I stick with 40K.

Concerning 40K, I started playing at the beginning of 2006, loving the Eldar from the beginning. I had about 2K points worth of models of Eldar, then tragedy struck! When I moved out of parents house (And the house was sold) some "helpful" people decided to go through what remained of my stuff, and seeing my unfinished Eldar models on top of the box (Foam and finished models on the bottom) They decided that trash needed to be taken care of... Needless to say, I've been more than a bit upset since then.

Luckily for me, I have some really nice friends who play 40K these days, and a few of them that used to play Eldar, and even though I am only very slowly rebuilding my Eldar, they let me burrow pieces I used to have, and between that and what I have repurchased, I can have some fun with them. I have collected a small 1500 point Necron force (Hope to fill that out to 2K in the next few months, but I'm hoping the new book comes out and I can fill out with the new sprue) and have started collecting my Templar (Oddly enough, picked them up originally because a BA friend wanted me to play some imperial army, so I picked up the templar to tag team with him! He just can't field psykers if he does )

I have also corrupted my Fiance, and she now plays Sisters of Battle, and Chaos Marines.

So that's my 40K story.

I'm glad to be apart of a community who enjoys the same hobbies I do, and I look forward to learning, and helping other people.

Welcome to the Dakka!

Sorry to hear about the Eldar...at least you didn't give up and kept collecting! I wish my g/f would start playing...too bad that will never happen. I do have my own 40K room and she supports the hobby. Can't ask to much more

And if you're drinkin' well, you know that you're my friend and I say "I think I'll have myself a beer"

Yeah, it's awesome. Originally I didn't want anything to do with painting my models due to an unsteady hand (Though I am painting my templar and looking to some of my more recent Eldar models) and she loves painting, so she got into it through painting my first few rebuys

Hi,
