While making my venom prototype, I found myself with a unit that looks like a glorified jetbike, and which inspired this set of rules for a Dark Eldar Fast Attack unit.

Harbringer Warbird: 50pt

Unit Type:
Vehicle (Skimmer, Fast, Open-topped)

Wargear: 2 Splinter Cannons

Special Rules:
Night Vision
Arial Assault
Swift Vehicle: As long as this vehicle does not move further than 24" in a turn, it may fire one weapon, plus all defencive weapons. In addition, This vehicle may make an additional 6" move during the assault phase.

Options:
May replace it's splinter cannons with a pair of the following:
-Haywire Blaster: Free
-Shredder: Free
-Heat Lance: 10pt
-Blaster: 15pt

May take one of the following Prow-Mounted Weapons:
-Twin-Linked Splinter Riffle: 5pt
-Splinter Cannon: 10pt
-Heat lance: 15pt
-Blaster: 15pt

May take any of the following:
-Chain Snares: 5pt
-Night Shields: 5pt
-Flicker Fields: 10pt

I'd take a squadron, do you have any pictures?

Swift Vechicle, i'd take both Splinter Cannons and another Splinter cannon...

Means i can go 24", fire all 3 Splinter Cannons

I came up with something similar:-

Fast Attack Choice

Hawkbat Squadron:- 80 points per vehicle, 1-3 per squadron

Hawkbat:- BS: 4, Armour F: 10 S: 10 R: 10
Unit Type: Vehicle, Skimmer, Fast, Open Topped

Wargear: 2 Disentegrator Cannons, Shredder, Flicker Field

Special Rules: Night Vision, Aerial Assault, Supersonic

Options:- May upgrade the Shredder to a Splinter Cannon for +10 points
May take Night Shields for +10 points
May take an Armoured Crew compartment for +10 points

I Like THOSE!

I do like the models and the rules. For some reason they remind my of the tau remora drones and pterodactyls

I had a sort of pterodactyl/bat image in mind when I was making them, the sails are meant to look more wing like than anything.

All it takes to make one is a few Raider components and a Vyper as well. Quite easy.
