I think that Dan Abnett should write the final book. He wrote the first and it was a big hit. He is a great author and would be the perfect author to write the conclusion.

Edit: I voted for someone else because Abnett was not originally up there and it put my vote under Graham McNiel. Could my vote be changed to Abnett?

I think like the opening it should be a trilogy of books detailing the Siege of Terra, written by Abnett, McNiell and Dembski-Bowden IMHO.

You actually think GW will ever slaughter the cash cow that is the Horus Heresy by completing it oh the naivety

In all honesty I could well see it being a story written over a number of volumes from varying view points. If I had to go for one author it would be ADB who consistently churns out the best of Black Library or after reading Battle of the Fang Chris Wraight.

Ssshhh! Do NOT mention he-who-must-not-be-named. Names have power you know.

My vote goes to Abnett. He really should get the honor of ending the series ( if and when we finally get there ).

Abnett or Graham, either would be fine by me. I think they are both quite excellent.

Also impressed by ADB from what I've read so far.

I say Dan Abnett, he is the Library's most successful author for a reason, and that reason is because he writes incredible 40k fiction.
