All right, I had the idea a while back of creating "Templates" little things that you apply to a profile to represent it being corrupted by something. For example, have a "Genestealer Cultist" template that you can apply to Guardsmen, Orks, and other Infantry, and field them in Tyranid armies. Have another four templates, one for each major Chaos god, one for "Diggas" to use in Ork armies, and have another one for vehicles for "Looted Wagons" so the Orks can actually use other vehicles well.

Basically, taking a set of stat modifiers, applying those to a unit, and fielding it in an army it isn't usually found

Of course this would need a few limits, a Points Cost improvement, an upper limit for how many template units, etc.

Problem is, I'm not too familiar with the Chaos, Tyranid, and Ork Codices. If somebody is, would they be willing to draw one up?

I think its a cool idea, Ive been thinking of something similar. Although I think the looted wagon its taken care of, since you can use any model you want and it simply assumes the Looted Wagon stat line.
For the Chaos gods you could think about taking the Chaos spawn stat line and modifying it to match better with the particular God.

So Khorne ones would be WS 4 and mabye have redning and A3

Slannesh would be at I5 and have fleet WS 4

Tzeentch could have an invlu save and perhaps a power like doom bolt

Nurgle could be T5 with FnP and such that way you dont have to do as much figuring.

They could all cost like 8pts a model or something like that.

For the Genestealers I would basicly take the stat line they have and drop it down so like WS4 and S3 and T3 mabye A1 but they should be fairly cheap so that you could have a lot of them for almost nothing. Maybe a little less than orks.

Just a few ideas.

Well the idea was that you could apply it to anything. Like, having Chaos infected Orks or Genestealer cultists.

Ah I misunderstood what you meant. Well then I would do what I meantioned before but make them modifiers so only to the stat that are nessary for the Chaos God.

So Khorne Would get replace its current WS with WS 4 and get A3 and and would remove all the models wargear and give it the rending special rule

And the other Daemons would be the same as I said before but simply over write those specific stats only.

So a SM with Khorne would get 2 extra attacks and rending but get no weargear.

They could keep their armour save and it would act like an updgrade to a model or something.

As far as vehicles are concerned you could basicly set the AV for the vehcile transfer the BS and the special rules but keep the units normal entry which would mean that a Looted Leman Russ would still have a battlecannon and all its other options but would have an orks BS and all the other risks involved.

Plus maybe something like " At the start of each turn roll a D6, on a roll of a 1-2 the vehicle suffers crew stunned result" to represent the orks inability to properly use the differnt races equipment.

I think that sounds really good, a lot less complex compared to my idea. The points would just have to increase because WS 6 SM would be scary

Well, maybe you'd have to take a special HQ (Genestealer Patriarch) or play only Khornite units to get a Khornite Auxiliary.
