I'm just a bit confused with the 1+ extra attack for having two close combat weapons, could anyone please explain to me what counts, and doesn't count as a close combat weapon

And help would be fantastic guys

It should explicitly say it's a close combat weapon. Saying that the butt of a bolter is a CCW and thus would grant +1 attack for having that and a pistol would get you thrown out.

Plus, rifle buts are two-handed ccws and prevent you claiming the +1 for 2xCCWs.

Yup, otherwise any model with two weapons could claim the 2xCCWs bonus.

Powerklaws, Powerfists, Thunderhammers and Lightning Claws never get the bonus for two close combat weapons unless you wield two of the same.

Powerswords(-axes, -toothpicks, or any other powerweapon) however are one-handed ccws, and would get a bonus attack for any second ccw.

See page 42 of the rulebook. Read the whole page; it answers all of your above questions. The FAQ also clarifies what counts as single-handed weapons.

The GK Deathcult Assissin's profile has 2 attacks as a base. He is equipped with 2 Power weapons and has no upgrades available. Does the profile include the +1 for two CCWs?

No, becauswe it doesnt say it does.

Bonus attacks are never included, except for rules explicitly stating so or number in brackets (BA dreads).

And Nids, all extra attacks are accounted for in their profile and don't gain extra attacks from multiple weapons.

Then again nid weapons are not real weapons.
