Hello everybody. I have heard this is the place to be when it comes to warhammer 40k. My friends all play and have been pressuring me for years to jump in. So I did.....head first I chose the space wolves as my army of choice and I am looking for any advice for how to run with them. Anything you guys have to offer would be awesome. I have gone through a couple of small games here and there. But always willing to listen to more skilled players. I am going to be going into a 1500pt three way battle against two friends of mine soon, and am looking for tips on what to do. One plays eldar (yeah sneaky elves) and one plays chaos (crazed fanatics). Both players have played more than I have and I want to at least give them a run for there money. Although I am prefectly content to let them kill each other first Appericate any help, and look forward to being a part of this forum.

Hello, 3ways are all good, my mates and I play 3 ways alot, you got space wolfs, orks with power armour! tactics for 3ways are hard to give without knowing whats sorter game you will play, we find 3 way planet strikes work best with one unlucky defender and two attackers attacking each other as well as the defender, try and have atleast one unit which you know can give one of the armies a really hard time, so when things get heated send that unit into its "joy" zone to do some killing so your army can regroup and pulll your gak together, hope this helps and welcome to dakka!

I am not sure what game we will be extactly playing yet, I think it my be just whoever is left standing at the end of the night. But, the idea of the 3 way plant strike sounds entertaining. I am going to suggest that. I have an Landraider achillies from forgeworld, but I am almost certain that won't be aloud in this game. otherwise I think that would suffice for a unit that could give them a hard time. Thanks for the info though, anything helps.
