So with the recent post of the "fairly solid necron rumors" thread i would like to know specifically, what do you think the two new "transports" could be? Or what could the new "Tesla weapon" be? do you think its going to be for apocalypse or will necrons finally get some real diversity in their army?

A transport wouldn't fit Necron fluff...
Maybe some kind of teleport node.
The telsa weapon would fit what i heard about the Void Dragons legions...
I think Necrons will get some good diversity in their codex but it won't be the usual diversity considering their background restricts it.

The thing that is always forgotten or purposely glossed over in these speculation threads is that the Necrons, as encountered by the Imperium at this point in time, are the 'raiding' forces.

There's going to be far more heavy weaponry and vehicles out there. We just haven't seen them yet, as the Necrons are still awakening.

Yes and no.

They have ships. They use those ships quite often. It's how Monoliths, in fact, are delivered to the surface by all accounts.

I'd prefer a light teleport tank.
It'd change their playstyle and they'd be very different from the armies we have now.
