2nd list seems more viable. The vindicare helps with some range issues. Plus in the first list the Razors have a transport capacity of six, so it won't take those squads anyway.

Was going to combat squad them keeping cannons on home objectives and run the halberds forward ..... but yea i see your point

All I can say is at 1000 points a dread will be better than the vindicare assassin.

For list 1 do not take the extra purifier squad it will be left on foot and left behind. Take a dread with twin linked autocannon

list 2 is good.

Yay! Someone else likes vindicares!

Space wolves are suppossedly the bane of vindicares, but not many people play space puppies.

I dont paticularily like either list however, but the second one IS better. I would suggest dropping the champion and taking an Inquisitor- Much more reliable, and paired with a few DCA's... *shudder*

DCA's dont get grenades so charge cover huggers dont work, plus i was trying to keep an all power armour force going, and Mr. vindicare isnt really there <.< >.> so doesnt count

Ok, so take power armoured Warrior acolytes. 15pts per bolter armed power armoured acolyte. Cheaper (just) than a regular amrine, and not much worse. 25 pts for powerswords, bolters and power armour. 3 of them and an inquisitor isn't bad.

very true..... i posted a 1500pts list somewhere, see how many holes you can poke in that one
