I pose this question based in a few details i have learned about the primarch.
1 He was gifted with glimpses of the future.
2 He was the most feared of the primarchs by the daemons of Chaos, something which leads me to believe that he at least used a force weapon

Although there is nothing i have seen that gives a discernible answer it would fit into Sanguinius personality that he would have these powers and choose not to use them for love and respect of his father.
It Just seems to fit in in my eyes, although i can't see him wielding the power like Magnus did, something that would have taken time practicing an action forbidden by his pompass prick of a father(sorry for the heretical outburst but honestly who isn't thinking it). Using a Force weapon to help banish hordes of daemons this is plausible in my eyes.

Most if not all were psyker AFAIK or they used to be in the previous fluff.
