Hello everyone,

since every painter has a use for the motivation and helpful comments a painting thread can give I decided to start a showcase of my own.

The plan is to show my minis (by Privateer Press and Games Workshop) with a priority on my new stuff. My older stuff will get shown as well, though. Especially when I have no really new stuff to show.

Anyway, enough talk.

I´ll start with my two most recent minis, the beginnings for my PoM and Circle Orboros armies.

I now gave them a matt varnish as well, so some details might be better to see.

Anyway, as requested here some other shots of the Argus. Now properly matted down.

Looks good. Really enjoy seeing more WM/H topics.

The puppy looks great. I might paint another highlight on the harness of the armor to make it stand out from the skin a bit more. The skin and armor are spot on.

Looks good, although I'd go back and pick out his teeth. Right now, he really needs a dental chew toy...

EDIT: Well, on the one side, anyway. Could just be the photo, of course.

Hello everyone,

I´ve been busy in the last few weeks and managed to paint with a (for me) break neck speed. As a result I finished my Circle Warpack, including my first Warcaster, Kaya the Wildeborne!











And yes, my photo-fu is weak ^^

Anyway, my ambitious plan to have a 35 point list fully painted in time for the next tournament at my FLGS was squashed. A week and 24 points to go -.-
I guess I can´t paint faster.

Thanks. He was actually the one I least liked in the beginning (not that nice of a sculpt, and for some reason not that fun to paint either), but in the end he came out fine.

My plan is to have similar beasts (Warpwolves, Satyrs) have similar colors, but still slightly different.
The Warpwolves, for example will range from dark grey (Stalker I´m currently working on) up to grey-white (Pureblood).

I'm not familiar with Warmahordes...is it possible to run a viable list of nothing but wolves, hounds and such?

Well, Kaya (in either of her two variations) is actually the one who might pull it off.

In the end you might need a few supporting pieces (maybe a unit of Druids of Orboros for utility, and a Wilder for Beast support), but it´s possible to have mainly wolf themed lists.
My current list for example has 22 of 35 (28 points worth of beasts though, thanks to Kaya´s warbeast pool) points spend in Wolf related beasts and solos. If you slightly expand it to Wolfriders, Reeves and Wolves of Orboros (Warriors who use either Crossbows or Spears and wear wolf pelts) you can have Wolf lists that are viable enough

Well, I actually forgot to post my Warpwolf Stalker.

This guy has been sitting on my desk all finished for over week now.

Which model is that one? Needs a tail, but looks pretty damn cool, and resembles the fellow I keepp seeing in the ads...

That model is the Warpwolf Stalker by Privateer Press (Hordes, Circle Orboros)

And he actually has tail, but the angle of the picture hides it for some reason. It points directy towards the camera in the back shot.

And it´s time for an update.

Since I wanted to finish and test my DIY light tent I couldn´t post my last model, so today´s a double update!

First of all, my Druid Wilder.



And my Woldstalkers, lead by the Stoneward.

Well, quick update since I managed some painting due to a few free days from work. My Lord of the Feast.



Now that I found a good light tent for my minis I only have to find out why the picture are kind of blurry all of a sudden -.-

You know, I wanted to make that pun myself but simply forgot. Good to see the chance did not go by unused ^^

I did paint the eyes, the angle leads the elk skull blocking the view though (better that way, I suck at painting faces/eyes ).

Alright, a month passed and I managed to do less that I intented to, but nontheless: Update!

First is my first Warcaster, High Exemplar Kreoss.



And my Crusader.



I did not yet manage to base them, since I wanted to do the whole battlebox in one go and the Revenger is only about 70% done yet.

I like all of these. The paintjob is really well done. Congrats.
