This is my latest commission, it took about 17 days, but it was massive

Holy crap. I can paint fairly well, but not in 17 days! Takes me a day to do a terminator. Jeez.

The yellow helmets are fantastic as well as the lightning effects.

I am used to seeing people do the "quick paint' on an army of similar size before... but the quality here for the time spent..... fabulous...
How much sleep did you actually get while painting this army??

That is amazing , out of interest how much did that cost the owner as i wouldn't be able to put a price on that much red-awesome.

I love it all except for one thing: the gold armour. It just looks very muddy and dull in comparison to the relative crispness of the rest of the army. I guess maybe you were going for a more realistic as opposed to ostentatious gold colour though?

Other than that (minuscule) criticism I am in awe! Great stuff.

Where did those two-hand swords come from in the Sanguinary Guard? Part of those models? Those looked badass!

i actually on had to work one weekend on it, it was pretty chill

I disagrees, the gold looks fine, the only thing i see, is in the first picture, the drop pods look a bit too bright compared to the rest of the army. Thats my two cents.

Wow. That is an amazing looking force, it's all really consistent (and good) and works so well as a group, with certain groups (eg. Sanguinary Guard, Death Company) standing out as they should. I particularly love your work with the vehicles, subtle yet effective basing and the worn/weathered look you've achieved. That's a hugely impressive force man.
You and GMM are definitely my favourite commission painters. Great work.

II'm guessing there is a lot of airbrushing going on here...? They look fantastic. To get that level of detail and excellence in that many models in only 17 days is incredible.

How much would that set me back £/$ wise?
