Hello dakkonians, I am in the process of expanding my WoC and have modeled up some chaos ogre conversions out of OK Bulls and Minotaur/white lion parts... Visually I am contented now to the hard part... Loadouts.
I have modeled one with two ironfists, one is the banner bearer and one has a great weapon, so I can run them either way now and say the other is the champ, however I expect this unit to grow to 6-9 and I am looking for advice on which way to lean (also thoughts on armor/marks)
I am currently thinking greatweapon as I don't have any in the army so my highest str are knights&shaggy w/ahw

I used to run mine with AHW, MoK and Chaos armor, and that was pretty neat, but I recently upgraded to GW instead of AHW. They were pretty much going last all the time anyways, and the extra Str to ignore most armor was really nice. I decided I just didn't need more Str4 in the army, what with warriors and GW Marauders providing lots of Str5.

Woad to WAR... on Celts blog, which is mostly Circle Orboros

I think with most of your warrior blocks carrying hand weapon shield, great weapons are probably the right call. 6 Ogres in the flank of something while warriors are busy not dying in the front should churn through a lot of units right quick.

Just make sure to have slayer repellent around...

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”
