Wanted to verify we played this right.

3 zoenthropes T4 3++ shot with 2 lazcannons and 2 autocannons on same vehicle. All wound. Can I allocate both lc shots to 1 zoenthrope before saves are made..note all zoenthropes must be equiped thee same as they have no biomorphs to take.

We played it that I could not allocate as all were the same.

No, you must roll the saves at once if there is no distinguishing wargear.

In this case, say "These two red dice are lascannons and these two blue saves are autocannons."

Then, if you rolled two red snakeeyes, both zoanthropes die. If you rolled one red 1 or 2 and one blue, then you would lose one zoanthrope and take one wound on the other, etc.

You still allocate wounding hits (so 2 LC, 2 AC) however you like, as long as it is even, however you then group thoe wounding hits into a single wound-group, and THEN make saves

This is because, as you say, they are identical - you have 1 group of 2 models, with a total of 4 wounds on them. And, as the rules for multiwound units say, you MUST remove whole models where possible when wounded by ID causing weapons.

also how wound allocation works is one wound on different models until there are no more models, if there are still wounds left to be allocated then you can put a second on the same model
