I was thinking about adding a small Exorcist contingent to my SM force (In my fluff there is a single squad seconded to my DIY chapter)
I was thinking about having the squad led by a Librarian (The epic forge world Red Scorpion librarian fellow being the target)
I checked Lexicanum and there is an Exorcist Librarian, however, it also mentions the fact they hate witchcraft (Psykers)
Is it fluffy to have a Librarian in an Exorcist force or not?

If its in there fluff then id go against it. But. You could always use a chaplain.

Their fluff kinda contradicts itself...
I wanted the Librarian 'cos the Forge World model looks so damn good.

I don't know much at all about Exrocists, but I do know that there are other chapters that hate psykers and still use them not only in their force, but as commanders.

Take the Space Wolves, few primarchs hated psykers as much as Lemun Russ, but even the wolves have Rune Priests. It stands to reason that if they have a librarian in the force, that it would be more than alright for you to have one fluff wise. (We'll see when someone with more knowledge about exorcists in general comes about )

Exorcists however are the spiritual successors to GK and as such they go through VERY special initiation rituals that effectively make them immune to daemonic possession and resistant to psyker powers (not sure on the psyker powers stuff)
The SW (both legion and chapter) view the Rune Priests as wielding a different kind of power than psychic forces... a bit stupid i know but they did.

I thought librarians were very important to the chapter since they looked over the demonic placement on the new marines.

I'm not going to be any help but hopefully someone knows what i'm talking about, I did read a short story about a deathwatch kill team led by a librarian and the team also had a rather dour Exorcist marine that in the end of the book was instructed to stay very close to the librarian because of his chapter it gave him some advantage if they had to battle...or something like this, it was ages ago when i read it I think in heroes of the space marines? but it described a bit about the Exorcists m.o, again i'm really sorry I don't make better sense but surely someone has just read it and can give you some more info?

The Exorcist was about to kill the Librarian after he almost gets possessed. He was ordered to stay near him because the Librarian had almost gone over the edge once already...
I have checked Lexicanum, the daemonic thing would make sense but i have a feeling the Inquisition may deal with that but it makes a good excuse until GW write some more on them.

The Exorcists aren't anymore resistant to psyker powers than any other marine. The rituals basically turn their soul from an easilky opened door, to a safe door that would require the deamon to put alot of effort into cracking.

As the GK see no problem with psyker powers being used i think the Exorcists wouldn't mind either.

BDC has it right I think, The Exorcists aren't anti psyker but very anti Daemon, it's basically the reason why they were created. They might be wary of Psykers due to possession but like BDS says, I am sure they would utilize them amongst their own ranks.
