WIP Sciuridae Hull Conversion and Shipping Rate Reduce in the end of page 1.
==================================================
The Hedgehog Anti-Aircraft Weapon System upgrade kit is the second upgrade kit produced by Ratgrad. It comes with removeble radar cover, and fixable/adjustable main gun elevation design.
This upgrade kit comes with 31 pieces of resin parts. It is 100% compatible with imperial chimera IFV’s. (Also compatible with Ratgrad’s Sciuridae upgraded IFV’s.)
You can order it in http://www.mycnc.org/ratgard/. And the Sciuridae IFV conversion kits is also re-stock.

Very nice indeedy! I'm particularly impressed by the peg system letting you lock the AA barrels into various elevations.

I like it, I like it a lot. Beautiful kit, and the pegs for the gun elevation are look awesome. However that pricetag is a swift kick in the balls, making it more expensive than an FW Hydra after buying the Chimera. That said, I'm still sorta tempted. (EDIT: *really* tempted...here's hoping for next months paycheck)
Although...one question. Where's the ammunition feeding to the guns from?

Awesome looking but that price is just too steep, even with the cost of the FW one being a bit cheaper.
With the gw Hydra looking like a summer release for a full kit , I'm even more hesitant.

Fatastic model though I'd have to agree with my fellow dakkanites.
I think its fanastic that someone is making this kit, even if GW won't, but as amazing as it looks (and it does, looks way better then the FW model) its just too many clams for this modeler.

There is no denying that is an amazing kit, but the price is even more expensive than the FW one!
I know it has been said already, but don't you guys remember the primary reason why all the IG players aren't all full on Hydras already is because the FW is too expensive?

The abundance of smooth, rivetless surfaces is abrupt. Kind of like someone mounted Tau weapons on a Chimera. May good for Gue'la auxillaries. I preferred your last release but, helas, can afford neither.

love it. Makes a great alternative. I don't mind paying a little extra. FW resin is a horrid abomination and the garage kits always use nice materials. It would be really good for a guard army that's going for a high tech look.

Is it possible you might consider selling the hull part separately? I really like the resin hull that goes on top of the GW chimera- it could make for a great deal of conversions.

Great conversion piece, though I have to agree about the price. It's a pity really, I could really use the turrets on my Elysian FAV's because the kit bashes I have currently are nowhere near as nice as what you've produced here! I also really like the lack of exposed ammo feeds, it makes a refreshing change.

Extremely detalied, and thats also reflecting on the price.

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time... |

Indeed add that to chapterhouses wheel conversion. and you'd have awesome Elysians

He is talking about the recent Chapterhouse release which was a conversion kit to make a wheeled Chimera. It looks awkward and out of scale IMO, but take a look for yourself- it's on News & Rumors.
Suvietrat (or shall I say comrade), I'm glad you are considering releasing the hull separate. The excellent conversion bit, including perhaps the driver's view screen, is bound to make a lot of sales for people who want the "rear turret" chimera style.

Great looking conversion kit, absolutely laughable price. The Forge World kit looks better and costs less, which is going to be a problem for you.

If I had to pick one of those, I'd pass since I'm not an IG player and don't know what kinda stuff they are hungry for.
If I had to pick something else, I'd suggest making some armor kits for Rhinos, Predators, and Vindicators.
I suspect they wouldn't be much work (I made my own armor kit with sheet styrene in less then an hour, so suspect someone with any talent would be able to do something much nicer)
You could probably get a reasonable price point since it would be a small kit
They would be big seller, because sphess mehrines,
and last I checked, Forge World isn't currently selling them due to mold issues.

I'd be interested in seeing a Medusa.
That being said, I was about to start budgeting to buy one...then I say the price tag. I still may buy in the future, but that'll be a long ways in the future.

I will vote on the Griffon. It is the one that is in great demand and should not require too much work to make.
However, I still implore you to consider changing the price tag on your models. Great as they are, they are far to expensive for conversion kits. A fully assembled Hedgehog will cost upwards of $93 dollars including shipping for the buyer, and frankly I would be surprised if people are willing to pay that much when the Forgeworld alternative is actually cheaper for a change.
