Sneaky Kommando

I overheard a few people talking earlier today about Zogwort, and one of them mentioned that he is great because he will get the 'Eadbanger (result number 1) even less frequently than a Warphead. Have I missed something or did they miss something? AFAIK Zogwort has no more reroll or anything than a Warphead does.

Confessor Of Sins

He has the squig power to use instead of rolling so in that sense yes. The guys might even think he can roll, then choose his special (iirc wrong).

The way i see itt is that you opt either to use his random rolled powers that turn OR his squigging power.
If you choose to use his squigging power you can't be ead'banged. I've used it when there is no IC in range, but none of the powers would be helpful that turn, or when there would be a low chance of one being useful.
If you go for regular ork powers you get the reroll, but i'd say you can't opt for squigging following the reroll as your second power of the turn.

Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts

Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

Ork Admiral Kroozin Da Kosmos on Da Hulk

Old Zogwort is a warphead and may thus reroll. It's clearly listed under his special rules.
Ascalam is right about the timing, once you decide to Squig/Roll on the table, you can't go back.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |
