I have always liked Chaos, with a bias towards Tzeentch and Khorne. I also love the random chance that gives games their flavor. A gambler's soul, if you will. So I went through and picked out some units that I would have fun with and still put up a decent fight. My meta is usually playing against my two friends who both play Ninja Tau (one with more mech bias), but I also will be playing against Grey Knights shortly. There is also a good chance of playing against Yriel/Eldrad Mechdar.

I am not afraid of the scatter die, so I only have brought one icon. It doesn't seem worth it to bring more. Skulltaker joins the bloodcrushers, the rest do their thing. I know that the Fiends can't climb buildings, which we use a lot of GW's ruins, so that's the reason for crushers, instead of more Fiends. The horrors essentially have a 4+ cover at all times, therefore lowering my need to use cover.

I figure that most of my units will be dead by endgame, but it only takes one model to claim or contest.

Id drop one of the Horrorsquads and use those 95 points to get 1 Crusher and give the Tzeentch heralds MoS. Then drop UM from both Fiendsquads and buy all three Princes Gaze.
One further change you could make is to drop the Changeling squadron to 5, give the icon to the Crushers, drop two times Breath from the Heralds and use those points to get a squad of Bloodletters.

These changes are mostly preference of course; as I said, you have a nice list allready... Good luck with it.

This is exactly what I would suggest. Put me down for a 'me too' on this.

Is Daemonic Gaze actually worth it on the Daemon Princes? And maybe I'll fool around with the points to get a unit of Bloodletters in there; they are rather cool.

Yeah, Gaze is fantastic as a Marine Equivalent killer. On the Prince, who is BS 5, you'll be hitting on 2's and wounding Marines on 3's. Top that off with the AP3 and you've got a nice shooting attack which will soften almost any target up.

Is the extra potency of the 4th wound shenanigan crusher worth the extra points? They already have Skulltaker with them. Also, what if I dropped Skulltaker completely, and added in the fourth crusher, and used the remaining points on bloodletters? I'll work out the points when I get a chance. Finals weeks sucks
