I've been working on an IG list for a local tournament. I know it's a little psychic heavy, but the potential for damage with those combinations is pretty high. I'm a little worried about the lack of troops and anti tank firepower. Please rip it apart.

Can we still use witch hunter stuff? I thought there was some faq that screwed it up.

Anyway, I think with two full psyker squads, you should have more shenanigans up your sleeve than just a callidus that you don't even know when you're getting. Even when it appears you're unlikely to get more than two templates off, which is great against a pair of wraithlords but not so amazing against a lot of other stuff.

Have you considered some pinning weapons? For instance, you could replace the LRBTs with basilisks, or a manticore if that's more your flavour. In any case, I would drop the heavy bolter sponsons off your vendettas because you'll never ever want to fire them over lascannons.

That is a very illegal army using the current IG codex. If you used a different or earlier codex to make it I suggest changing the title.

What's illegal about this list? Witch Hunter allies are still legal even if demonhunters aren't. As for the heavy bolters, I love them on the vendettas as they can help when firing at heavy infantry and light vehicles and they're only 10 points for 2. The other nice trick with this list is using divine pronouncement on a weaken resolved squad to push them off the board without even firing a shot. I do agree that adding pinning weapons over the leman russes would be very nice.

Give me a page in the IG codex that says you can use allies from the witch hunter codex and I will believe you. I have not seen anywhere in the 5 codexs I own that say your allowed to mix codexs. If you can tell me where to look for where it says you can, I would certainily like to know.

It says in the witch hunter codex that any imperial army can use witch hunter allies and provides and allies forced org chart. I dont have the book on me at the moment, but this is pretty common knowledge. Most people used demon hunter allies instead because of the mystics, but now the grey knights are out, one can only use witch hunters. The IG FAQ even has a section on using allies, and its mentioned several times in the witch hunters faq, though it's not in the free download.

Found it for you, posting it here...
IG Faq

Q. As the units in Codex: Imperial Guard have
changed, can we have a clarification of which
units you are allowed to induct into a Witch
Hunters and/or Daemonhunters army? In
particular, can we include the special characters
that replace the Platoon Commanders?

A. You may include any of the inducted units
from Codex: Imperial Guard that are listed in the
‘By the authority of the immortal Emperor of
Mankind…’ rule with the exception of Armoured
Fist Squads – these no longer exist as a separate
unit entry. Note however that all Imperial Guard
Infantry Squads can now take a Chimera
transport if they so choose. You may include any
of the normal options from these units allowed in
Codex: Imperial Guard so yes, you may include
special characters that replace Platoon
Commanders. Inducted Sentinel Squadrons can
be either Armoured Sentinel Squadrons or Scout
Sentinel Squadrons. Also note that as the list
states you are limited to 0-1 Leman Russ Battle
Tank you may not include any other types of
Leman Russ such as the Demolisher, Executioner
etc.

I would then change the title, as this is no longer a IG army, it is a Witch Hunter army using IG Allies, as I stated in my first post. You are over the limit of Lemon Russ tanks though apparently.

That paragraph covers inducting guard into a witchhunter army, not using witchhunters as allies, which is perfectly legal. If you would look in a hard copy of the witchhunter book you will find all the rules for it.
