now when i first brought up this idea to my friends they went all nah its just an overly backwards snake bite tribe as i was just going to be useing fantasy orks but i am going for some really feral orks so with then new savage orks heres my ideas

warboss avatars of wars orc beserker with arm and hand swaps and custom green stuff armor and pelts change his hand holding club to holding a twin linked spearluancha (twin linked shoota) http://www.avatars-of-war.com/eng/web/images/minis/aow30/aow30_blister.jpg or use their ogre hero with a simple head and hand swap http://www.avatars-of-war.com/eng/web/images/minis/aow32/aow32_blister.jpg
mounted warboss gorbad iron claw as a base give him the power claw arm from the black reach warboss and switchin his boar with a modified and orkyer bloodcrusher(super cyboar)

weirdboy useing the savage ork boar boy riders from fantasy haveing 5 0n a single 40mm base 4 in a circle with the main one wearing a tribal mask hovering above them in the center orky lightning maybe?

big mek (pig dok) black ork big boss green stuff on some fur and an arm swap with a broken mad dok grotsnik i have

boyz useing the savage orcs from fantasy with some minor conversions little bit of armor plate here and there nothing too flash and hand swaps got me 12 sets of them off ebay for 15 bucks each and i have 300 ork arms from boyz sets i got for other conversions

bikers again the savage ork boar boyz little conversion needed other then some work from some talented pig doks to add in some wheels or chainsaw tusks

kommandos combo of savage ork boyz and savage ork boar boyz on there knees tribal hunting masks all round
boss snikkrot his model just change back pack for beast man standard and give him some spears on his back and simply mod his mask into a tiki ish mask

burna boyz savage ork boys leading Squiggomanders 40mm base 1 ork and salamander per base

stormboyz savage ork boyz with sqigg bats on there back (greenstuff balls with harpy or fury wings and lots o teef)

deff kopta savage ork boarboys on giant sqigg bats dark pegasus wings

deff dread and killa kans armed tiki statues powered by sheer orky waaagh and some poor grots or a lucky ork getting sacrificed

trukks lizard man stegadon no convo needed other then orky bits and big shootas

battle wagon epic armagedons orkeosaurus this thing is bigger then the forge world gargantuan sqiggoth and a 1/4 of the price http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1101915

tell me what you think and if you feel like useing any of these ideas please give credit were its due
will post up pics when my bits get here

Love the idea! I used some of the new nekked savage orks to make shoota boyz by simple hand swaps. They look really wild!

More tiki masks = more better!

Beware, though, that epic squiggoth you mention is going to be tiny. GW doesn't do a good job of showing the scale of Epic vs. regular. That base he's on is probably a 25 mm, but even if it is bigger, it won't be any bigger than 50mm (dreadnought size).

actually it seems you were right found this pic the paint brush in the pic and the paint jars behind it gave away the small size http://www.wargamer.com.au/orks/squig3.JPG still it might make for a nice trukk

You're going to be disappointed by that epic squiggoth. I see you've figured it's not as big as you'd anticipated, but it's honestly only going to be big enough for an Ork to ride on. I wouldn't guess it's that much bigger than a bike.
