I played my first game with the deffwing last night and a few weird spots came up. Now the first one was, I gave my battlewagons wrecking ball with deffrollas. Now can weapon destroyed take these out? Also the wrecking ball states that in the beginning of the assualt phase if the vehicle is within 2 inches it can make a str 9 attack on a 4+. So if they assualt my battewagon would I get this attack? or is it just on my assualt? Also if a battlewagon is immobilized, can the grot riggers and the big mek thats riding inside, both try and fix the imobile or just one or the other?

No a weapon destroyed can not remove a Deff rolla or Wrecking ball. The Wrecking ball can attack one "unengaged" enemy unit, so yes it can be used in the opponents assault phase but they must be unengaged (since assaulting a tank doesn't lock you in combat, I'm not sure if they count as engaged or unengaged). Last if you have Grot riggers and a Big Mek, inside the vehicle or in b2b with it, they may both attempt to repair the vehicle.

The debate about what counts as a weapon is ongoing. There's another thread going right now. The rules are vague on this point. (simple version - must have a profile or be a CCW to be a weapon vs if it does damage then it's a weapon)

The wrecking ball does say "beginning of the assault phase" with no reference as to which. However, it goes on to say "if it has not moved more than 12" that turn". Turn means player turn unless otherwise stated so, from context, we can infer that the wrecking ball only works in your player turn. Very fuzzy though.

Riggers and Mek can both try - nothing says that they can't. However, note that you can try one and then the other - they don't have to be attempted at the same time.

Oh and I almost forgot something. If I have red paint job, but I am badmoons, can I use my yellow badmoon paint jobs as red paint jobs?

Yellow does not equal red.....

You should check with your opponent, but I would be fine with it. Maybe you could try adding some red parts on, like red flames or lightning designs?

You can have any color on your vehicles represent red paint jobs. The important thing is that if you are doing this to make sure all vehicles with the upgrade are one color and vehicles without it are another color. This will help prevent confusion for both you and your opponent.

Ok cool thanks, I decided to not put red paint jobs on my battelwagons anyways.
