I wanted to make a unique army, so I was thinking of making a space wolves army that worships the chaos gods. Is this possible? I was thinking they would worship slaanesh. I like the idea of noise marines. Would it be permitted in a tournament if I modelled them a bit differently? I apologize if these are simple questions. I don't know much about the fluff of the game yet! Thanks!

Yes , any Space Marine can become Corrupted by Chaos (Except Grey Knights) and Space Wolves may serve any of the Chaos Gods.

If I recall in the Dorn Heresy they were chosen by Krone, but they can serve any of the chaos gods.

Yes it is entirely possible for Space Wolves to fall to Chaos. The current CSM book in fact describes a group of Space Wolves joining Huron Blackheart and gives a paintscheme for a Chaos Space Wolves group known as "Skyrar's Dark Wolves".

Most tournaments don't care one way or another as long as the models are WYSIWYG and you have a legal army list. Hell, Space Wolf army lists were the most popular army at Adepticon and 38 of 43 of them (nearly 90%) were proxy "counts as" armies. You shouldn't have a problem with Chaos Space Wolves one way or another.

The Space Wolves have the smallest numbers of all the legions, worshipping Chaos goes against their character, and they are explictly described as being resistant to Chaos - the Mark of the Wulfen is kind of like an immune response to Chaotic influence. You can do it, and the tournament organisers would be fine with it, but the idea is bad.

It isn't a bad idea; few concepts for armies are truly 'bad ideas'.

SW culture and supposedly the gene-seed is resistant to it but they can and do fall to Chaos.
Though they would probably only go for undivided and Khorne. The other gods wouldn't really appeal to them.

Some space puppies got scared of CSM and gunned down their own brothers and joined chaos. What would you expect from drunken mutts.
