I don't usually have a whole lot of time for painting, and I want to play. My FLGS' have few 40k players, and due to the fact that i don't have a fully painted and based army, I can't play at GW. I saw Army Painter and was wondering if any of you guys have had any experiance with it? I already basecoat with a spray, and paint from there. Will this actually save me time and keep my models looking half decent? In general, is it worth it?

Depends on the result you're looking for. Any of the dip/head-to-toe wash techniques/materials can get decent tabletop effects. They don't give you an award-caliber paint job, but they can give you a remarkably good look, especially on organic surfaces like tyranid carapaces or ork skin, and models which you want to look dirty/greasy, like plague marines.
With a wash like this, you can basically go:
1. Spray prime.
2. Paint each area of the model with one bright version of what color you want. Elf flesh on skin, white where you want tan, bright red where you want dark red, mithril silver where you want metal, etc.
3. Wash.
4. If you don't want shiny, spray with dullcote.
I did twenty beastmen, a shaman, and a chariot like this in a single evening a while back. Spray black, drybrush flesh one color, drybrush fur another color, paint the horns/hooves solid bleached bone, paint the weapons solid mithril, paint misc decorative metal shining gold, then the whole model head to toe in water-based minwax chestnut wood stain. Came out really pretty nice, actually.
Giving the models nice bases, in a bright/contrasting color, can really make them look nice too, and give the illusion that you've spent more time and work on them than you really have.

I love Army Painter colored spray primers. I think they're right up there with Foundation Paints and Washes in terms of how they streamline the painting process. If you keep the paint in the can well shaken, your mini will take paint like a freakin' champ. I use the Skeleton Bone spray can, and I love every bit of it. It's an exact match for Bleached Bone.
When I've used other colors, there were a couple of issues. Their "Angel Green" color isn't exactly a match for GW's Dark Angels Green (but with a wash, you can't even tell the difference). Also, "Dragon Red" from Army Painter is a shade darker than GW's Blood Red (again, it's tough to tell). The Chainmail spray doesn't take paint quite as well as it should, but if you put a light coat of Testor's Dullcote on it and let that dry overnight, it'll take paint like you primered it with anything else. Of course, these were all one can of each, I've gone through almost a dozen cans of Skeleton Bone, so maybe I got a "meh" can of Angel Green, Dragon Red and Chainmail sprays.
Overall, highly, highly recommended and worth every single cent. Just prime lightly and in quick passes, it'll go on heavier than you want it too if you're not careful!

All I could say is that the Army Painter brushes are awesome! If you could get their standard brush (called "Character brush") you could pretty much paint anything by just using the tip! Plus, their brushes are designed in a shape that gives you more control and less "finger fatigue" for long painting sessions.
As for their tub of sand called "Fine Sand", I haven't used it yet but it looks like a good alternative to your Games Workshop sand for half the price and double the amount. Anyone try the sand yet?
