hi guys i have a quick question. has anyone thought of making a mechanicus army with the daemonhunter henchmen? ive seen some great conversions of the dreadknight as knight titans and then i was thinking of a bunch of techpriests and then henchmen as skitarii.

i was hoping someone out there has had the same idea and if so i was wanting to see/hear/read how they either did it or are thinking about doing it.

OK there are people out there who are interested in this right? ive been looking around on the interwebz and there at least was a lot of interest in this concept a while ago. now with this new codex i was hoping there would be a resurgence for this fantastic modeling opportunity.

I'm currently working on something similar, but using Dark Angels cloak bodies with some suitable weaponry from maximinieu. Once all the bitz are gathered and I've examples to show, I will.

fantastic. i was also thinking of using necron warriors with robes and some (read lots) of greenstuff. there are a couple of people out there who have done this with a fair bit of success.

I'm using cron bodies on helf archer legs and wood elf hooded heads with lots of GS lol

how is that working out for you? any chance for pics?
