Some background for the question first. I'm switching my space marine codex army to a blood angel army. I picked up the codex last Thursday and started reeding it. I'm interested in the Death Company and want to get some models for it and use it in the game. The concern I have is with the Rage Special Rule. BRB under Rage states "In the Assault Phase they must always consolidate towards the closest visible enemy." I was wondering (because I've never had a unit with Rage and haven't seen it on the battlefield) do you get a D6" movement in the Assault Phase if you cant assault a unit, and a normal 6" move if you can?

No, you only get a consolidation move after the enemy you were in combat with is killed or runs: this is then a d6" move.

The only units that can move in the assault phase are Jet packs(Jump infantry subtype), and Eldar Jetbikes(both regular and dark varieties), and any models with a specific special rule stating they may move in the assault phase even when not assaulting.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
