So with the new necrons coming soonish I have decided i want to start an army of undead robot zombies .The only thing is with an update coming what should i pick up that will be any good?
I am assuming Warriors will still be the backbone of the army which would be a good place to start ,but what should a get after about 20-50 of them.I know no one has really seen a book yet but just going off the current rumor trends.

If it's in plastic, it should still be good. IE - Warriors, Monoliths, and Destroyers are worth picking up. It's not like most lists with the current book use anything else anyway.

I would get as many battle forces as you can, before they get pricier for less stuff.

Get 5 if you can. This will give you all the warriors you should ever need, tons of scarabs and 15 destroyers

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

I agree to getting the battleforces. If you can find them cheap on ebay at all get them. The necron one is probably the better one with the way the Necron rumours are shaping up.

Also, some monoliths. They will more than likely be a viable choice in the next book.

Third the Battleforce. If what Yakface said is really true, you'll be massing Warriors and Scarabs. That or Immortals, but those can wait as the metal ones will no doubt outclass the rumored plastic ones in cost.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
