How does this affect models that dont have a gw model for them yet or special characters with no model?

For example:
Tomb Kings have all of these new heroes and characters but 0 models for them. Can i just plug in a liche priest or a tomb king/prince to be one of the special characters? Settra/khalida excluded obviously as they have models. In addition, can I use a bone giant as a hierotitan? They have almost the same statline and there again is no model for him.

The WYSIWYG rules are a lot more lenient in fantasy, just have a model with the correct looking gear and you're done.
So if king whatshisname comes with the sword of whoopass and shield of invulnerability, you just need a model with a sword and shield.

If theyre magic weapons, you dont even need that. A sword of whoopass may be an axe in its current form.

Most Tournaments run the "does it look right" when you're doing "counts as" models.

Ok, for example my necrotect has a whip. The only model in my army whip a whip is a charoteer driver. I guess I could run him as a necrotect lol.

Just make it CLEARLY different to any other guy with whip. Counts as doesnt work if you cant tell the difference...
