with the new GK codex out and the old daemonhunters gone, can a witch hunter army take units from codex grey knights as allies?

I agree with the above, but it would make for some strange things.

ex.
You could take the Witch Hunter version of Karamazov and the GK version of Karamazov in the same army.

Although why you would ever want to take Karamazov from the WH codex is a mystery to me.

To be more specific, you can ally in a WH army toa GK codex, but you cannot ally in GK from the GK codex. This restricts you to having at most 1 HQ, Elite, FA and 2 Troops from the WH dex in any army with the GK.

Also, any allies would use the rules listed in the WH book. So you're stuck with the old assassins.

Look at your comment. Back to mine. Back to yours NOW BACK TO MINE. Sadly, it isn't mine. But if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate crap it could LOOK like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You're scrolling through comments, finding the ones that your comment could look like. Back at mine, what is it? It's a highly effective counter-troll. Look again, MY COMMENT IS NOW DIAMONDS.

Anything is possible when you think before you comment or post.

I'm on a computer.

Which makes the Callidus assassin actually playable again imo!

Just to clarify. GK can take WH as allies, but WH cannot take GK as allies. WH rules only allow basic (ie codex Space marines) variant marines as allies, but allow WH to ally with any Astartes.

Since the old rules are the only rules available for using allies, then yes, those would be the rules that apply.

He was good IMO, the old extra attack rule within 2D6" was good, plus he had an invulnerable and better stats. I always took him.

More to the point would be: Do you have two Karamazov's?
