so i was looking through my codex when i saw that my tac squad, in wargear, is said to have bolt pistols and bolters, so my question is
1:
can i fire a bolt pistol rather then bolter before going into cc
and 2:
does it matter if they are modelled on (generally accepted with out any fuss from anyone) cause on the sprues i do not believe there are ten pistols on it (correct me if im wrong)
|
why am i sticky and naked did i miss something fun

regarding 1)
you can choose which weapon to fire, so you can shoot the bolt pistol instead of the bolter. you may not, however, assault after using the bolter (because it is rapid fire, not assault)

1) Xarian is correct. You can always choose which weapon you want to shoot with.
2) WYSIWYG in the rulebook only covers Characters. Most tournaments only care about upgrades to units (so meltas, plasma etc) and not concerned with standard equopment.

Unless you somehow become relentless, in which case you can.
