Is there any possibility that the Emperor will heal and can be able to walk again?….I know he is sort of skinny and boned but perhaps he can be reborn through a new body like Eliphas, or a powerful machine like a dred but ten times better.

My friends and I always wondered what it would be like if GW followed through with the lost Primarchs (the ones like Russ who went into the warp) and had the Emperor stand up, or transfer his essence to fight the final fight on Terra. It would be awesome, but I doubt the story will ever really continue.

The story will progress when GW financially need it to progress (ie when the majority of players get bored of the setting). So far, aside from a few vocal people on forums quitting and trying to recruit for Warmachine, people aren't leaving the game in droves, so they don't need to do anything drastic.
