So I know that this isn't the most competitive list but I don't like the typical mechdar force of DAs in Wave Serpents and such. I've messed around with it a bit and it just isn't fun for me.
I'm looking for any suggestions that alter the forces within but don't change the overall theme of the army, because after all this isn't meant to be a dominant tournament army.
HQ:
Farseer (83 pts)
-Doom
-Singing Spear
Elites:
Harlequins x10 (264 pts)
-2 with Fusion Pistol
-6 with Harlequin's Kiss
-1 Death Jester
-1 Shadowseer
Troops:
Rangers x5 (120 pts)
-Upgraded to Pathfinders
Rangers x5 (120 pts)
-Upgraded to Pathfinders
Guardians x11 (103 pts)
-Weapon platform w/ Scatter Laser
Heavy Support:
Wraithlord (155 pts)
-Bright Lance & Eldar Missle Launcher
Wraithlord (155 pts)
-Bright Lance & Eldar Missle Launcher
Total: 1000 points
~Reasoning/Strategy~
The Rangers hang back in cover and hold objectives while picking off a few of the enemies.
The Harlequins serve as a bodyguard for the rangers, attacking any enemy units that wish to assault them.
The Farseer can can Doom enemy units that the rangers will focus their fire on or Doom a unit assaulting the Harlequins to turn the tide.
The Guardians are there to hold up the enemy and disrupt their forces.
The Wraithlords are anti-tank since this army would be lacking any otherwise.
Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hey now! There ARE other styles of play for eldar... they're just not quite as good. But they can be effective without slapping everything in a serpent!
As for your list, With not going into serpent spam, I would suggest a typical foot slog army. That said, rangers (and pathfinders) are considered a poor choice for troops, especially in these smaller games. They're expensive and they remove the aspects that Eldar are best at (Mobility).
For normal footdar lists though, I can't really help ya, I don't know the proper set up for them, other then you would usually take Eldrad and the Avatar of Khaine.
But, in essence, it seems you are looking for an Eldar gunline list, is that what you're getting at?

I run a non-mec Eldar force myself, and this list is alot like mine.
Yeah, ditch the Rangers. They just can't produce the offence needed for those points. For those points you can get two more Guardian squads with platforms (Scatters are good). I also run Warlock's with Spiritseer upgrades for the Wraithlords. When running Wraithlords, this is where Guardians are better than Dire Avengers... it is all about that Spiritseer.
I run my Wraithlords with a flamer, catapult, wraithsword and a singel heavy weapon. I run 3, 2 with EMLs and a BL.
I run more of a assault force with a Avatar and the 3 Wraithlords, with two Stormguardian squads with a Spiritseer and two Fusion guns. Harlequinns want as many kisses as you can give them, and I like giving the troop master a Powersword and a Fusion Pistol. They can be a pretty devistating force, specially if you move them through cover and make use of their strengths. They are tricky to use, but used effectivily can be potent.

Why do you take spirit stones on the farseer when you only have one psychic power on it?

Must have left that in from a previous draft of the list, fixed it and moved some other stuff around. Thanks!

This list looks pretty cool, i'm sure you could find a way to use the ranger's effectively with that shadowseer

Wraithsight freeze will hurt this army bad. No Runes of Warding will also hurt.
Murfywat, the Shadowseer only effects the Harlequinns. Veil of Tears can not effect any other unit but the one the Shadowseer is in or himself if he is the last one. Since he is a upgrade and not a IC, he can't leave to give it to another unit.
Since this army is based around having Psykers to work and it is psyker starved in a codex that is the 2nd most psyker heavy codex out there (Greyknights being #1), I can see alot of problems if people don't fight him in a way he wants them to. Killing the Farseer cripples the Rangers AND the Wraithlords. Hell, it cripples his whole army. He is lucky the Shadowseer counts as a psyker!
His Farseer is running around naked it seems. Best unit to put him in is the Guardians, but his guardians are throw away troops apparently (The Guardians are there to hold up the enemy and disrupt their forces.) since he is using them as speed bumps. That army is a pie-plate away from being shut down. To me, that is a /scary/ flaw.

Would you consider any war walkers? They go great with guide on a farseer and add a boat load of s6 shots that you can outflank with. Plus they're not fast mech so they should go with the army... Maybe.

Thanks for the input. I agree that the Farseer is fragile in this list but I was actually thinking of having him attached to the Harlequin unit, that way he'd be protected by VoT.

I was strongly considering having war walkers but I am planning on expanding this list to 1500 and 2000 eventually and at that level I think the wraithlords are better. Basically I don't want to buy warwalkers for a format I'll move out of relatively quickly.
