Looking to convert a few Empire Free Company's in to penal squads using my extra weapon arm bits and buying a few renegade arms from FW. Dose any one have any pics of something like this for a bit of inspiration?

Penal squads would get the worst and oldest equipment, so I think it would be perfectly fluffy to equip them with anything vaguely rifle-like to count-as lasguns.

Definitely mix and match bits as much as possible to avoid the 'WHFB squad with lasguns glued on' look. An especially lowly squad might not even be issued uniforms, just a sash or hat (ideally with some imperial symbol on it) over their civilian clothes from when they were forcibly volunteered.

Ok and for the sash, just some green stuff, what would be the easy-ist thing to carve (in the green stuff) or try to glue on the guys. i dont have many bits of Imperial Aquila,s and have never used green stuff.
