I'm currently playing through Fire Emblem Gaiden for the NES. I play without abusing save states so I've never actually beaten the final battle after a few go-throughs. What about you folks?

I can't recall... Might have been Samurai Shodown or Super Street Fighter II Turbo on the 3D0.

If you mean on a pre-PS1 gen game console then it was
Revenge of Shinobi on the Sega mega drive II.

But the last old game I played was Zelda II on the Wii virtual console.

Every so often, I play Link to the Past on my SNES. Such a good game.

Sonic games on megadrive, still got the megadrive too i think.

Hmm Megadrive games get a look in on occasion.

I brought the AD&D game Warriors of the Eternal Sun last year just to give it another go, for £2, I was having a fair bit of fun for a few weeks.

I also load up Road Rash 2 on occasion and would love to track down Warsong for less than £35 plus it often goes for on ebay.

Super Street Fighter 2 on SNES last winter at a convention. Was a blast kicking butt with old school Cammy again.

Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and A Link to the Past. I play through all of those every other year or so.

The last one I played was Chrono Trigger.

Well, it was either Super Mario 3 on NES or Final Fantasy III on SNES. My TV currently has a NES, SNES, N64, PS2, PS3 and XBOX 360 hooked up (actually, only the PS3 and XBOX are hooked up, the others are just a few plugs away.)

This was for the PC, but I think it still qualifies as pre-PS1.

on the Megadrive I played Dungeons & Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun and Speedball 2, which is one of my favorite games.

Playstation 1 I played Tekken 2, Which is also one of my favorites.

Playstation 2 Duel Masters.

I like to have my consoles more or less on hand for when I feel the nostalgia inch. I've even thought about setting my C64 back up on occasion, but the waiting for an hour to play a game is a major turn off
