When the emperor finally dies it says that his soul will neutralize the Chaos Gods, resulting in a Titanic battle for control of the galaxy. Is this what is referred to when primarchs such as Vulkan, Lion El'Jonson and Leman Russ return to the world for the final battle (as stated in the fluff for each). I also think that this would be an awesome opportunity for a huge Apocalypse battle!

Perhaps, it's all theory and prophecy, so nothing is hard fact. It's the same with the Eldar prophecies of Rhana Dandra - the final battle between Chaos and the material universe.

It's cool to think about, but for obvious reasons, it will never happen

This has always been an intersting thing to think about alas we will probaly never get any more information, because I would love to know if the Eldar Rhana Dandra and the final battle that the Primarchs talk about are related or even one in the same. But we will never know

All I know that in that moment, Emperor will be reborn after he destroy all 4 Chaos Gods...
And all Eldar that ever fall to Slaness will be also reborn...

This is pretty much all there is on the Star Child AFAIK, its all prophecy and speculation as NagothDaCleaver stated, so its all open to interpretation
