Subject: Sealing or otherwise protecting applied weathering powders
What's the best way to protect a model that has been weathered with powders? I used to think just weather and then spray it with good old Citadel varnish, but it seems to either blow away or make the powder vanish for the most part. Am I rushing it and should I let the powder rest overnight first?

MiG do a fixer if you can find it in your area. From what I've read elsewhere a little artists white spirit will do the same thing.
Can I suggest skipping forward 10 years to the age where you don't really care about what people say on the internet. Studies show that it decreases your anger about life in general by 37%. - Flashman

The MIG fixer works when I use the darker colours but seems to make the lighter ones disapear too.
As most of my stuff isn't for playing with I tend not to bother trying to fix the final layer now.
Automatically Appended Next Post: I've also found that the MIG fixer leaves a horrible finish in terms of adding either more paint or ink washes which is why I'm still not happy with how this turned out -
