As recent threads have pondered aloud the issues I thought this might be helpful to dispel some rampant misinformation.

What is known is that this was a place run by the Tau who had humans upon it. Once the IoM forces showed up they largely welcomed their return to the planet. The former rulers did not like disloyal civilians and after winning the conflict (?) the Tau did separate the humans by gender into re-education camps. The comments in the video are then prefaced with 'May also have' and 'could have'. That use of language is to make wild assumptions on why there were no longer many or indeed any human civilians on the planet after a short time.

Populations of IoM worlds that get on the wrong side of things, ie the Badab War and others, have been treated just as harshly if not more so outright. As with most things if you pledge fealty to a side and then betray that fealty, don't act all surprised when those you betrayed 'reward' you for your actions....

People leave the Tau alone....
If we think that they are doing all this, that's our opinion. Tau fans would never admit that their race is "bad" in terms of sterilization and racism, because they love it and would not admit that EVER. Even if there are some things to indicate this, I must admit without real evidence we can't say anything. I may think that they do that, but that's my opinion alone...
I love Tau, I hate Tau fans who are saying that their Empire can beat Imperium and conquer galaxy...
I heard everything: That Fire Caste outnumber all Imperial Guard, that Tau can kill Chaos gods, that Tau Navy outnumber Imperial Navy, that Tau can conquer Imperium... They are now even arguing that our today military is better trained, armored, armed and experienced than Imperial Guard or Space Marines...
Because of this statements it's pointless to argue with them. I am finish with Tau treads, until 5'th edition come out.
And let me say one more thing, this attitude is not good toward KillKrazy, because she is a Tau fan to. And since she is also MOD she just shut down all your threads so don't bother to launch them anymore...
I expect this thread to be shut down the moment KillKrazy see it's, and it's contest...

The Emperor doesn't have a GKs unshakable faith in the Emperor which is....basically himself?

Brother Coa I feel your over reacting to this a tad but in light of all you have had to wade though in this regard I can also see why you are.
I'm just saying it as the source material says it is and pointing out that even it says the most salacious bits are 'vindictive conjecture' at best.

In essence I am agreeing with Kilkrazy and some of the others in pointing out that it is exactly that, vindictive conjecture from a tainted source.

If to discuss the issue politely and reasonably in a general forum is something you can not be allowed to do then why is there even such a venue.
I am not being negative or throwing gasoline around with road flares, just clarifying the key points and citing the source so it can be readily revued.

Gathering the Informations.

Except it's not "vindictive conjecture from a tainted source" at this point.

The Deathwatch RPG supplements have solidified these allusions as being more than simple conjecture, and it seems to be part of a movement from GW to get away from the idea of the Tau being spotless 'good' guys.

Thank you.

It would be appreciated if people would not troll the forums.
