Before I start, I am notorious for either converting or proxying either metal or models I don't like.

I use sanguinary guard as vangs, DA chapter upgrades as sternies, and at e moment, I am building a chaplain with sang box, but he'll have pegassi wings rather then a jump pack.

As such, iI wanna proxy vanilla GK for honour guard with relic blades.

This unit is for the fun of painting, using more advanced techniques and for shiz'n'giggles in games

Thoughts?

There arer enough two-handed swords (not halberds) for this.

If understand you correctly, you're planning on converting regular GK troops into an Honor Guard for a Vanilla SM Army.

Seems like an good conversion opportunity, as the models have enough similarities. I can't really make any suggestions unless I know what kind of look you're going for.

My only suggestion would be that you don't use the psychic hood style chest back pieces.
