Where you for some unknown reason, forgot even the most basic rules or special rules for your army? And ended up totally hoeing yourself through out the game? Not only that, but you roll so bad, that you couldnt possibly make up for it? Well I had that game yesterday. I rolled so many 1s and 2s I could easily count them up to 100 if I wanted. Dunno how, but COMPLETELY forgot that Ork mobs are fearless when numbered 11 or more, and naturally both ran off the table edges from suffering enough wounds to need a LD check. That was 40 boyz down the drain Completely forgot to shoot a unit of lootas, AND forgot I had some koptas waiting in reserves to outflank....until the very last turn of the game. It didnt matter, they missed everything they shot at.

I personally blame it on the heat from yesterday. I did alot of yard work during the day and so was out in the sun most the day. Then after all the work, I was asked to play some 40k, and I wont turn that down......though now I wished I would have

Lost the game thou. But not to bad dices thou. Well my Lootas got a 1 every turn, but mostly becus the guy i played with rolled so meany 5's and 6's that it was unbeliveble.

I once rolled with a mob of 30 shoota boyz w/ nob and 3 big shootas... and didn't get a single hit

same game i was fielding ghaz with meganobs in a battlewagon and the vehicle got imobalised the first turn and i swear i think the highest roll i got with them was a 3 in thier SnP movment

tied that game though simply because it was capture and control neither one of us was contesting the others objective

Forgetting that my Broadsides actually had TAs instead of ASS on the list (dunno why, I always give them ASS...); when it actually came to me moving the Broadsides, my opponent called foul, I reached for my army list to see I didn't have the ASS, and even worse was that i'd spent 4 turns of the game hitting stuff on 4s instead of 3s with my broadsides...

I also forget that my pathfinders don't have to start in the devilfish.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Oh yes. Those dreaded moments. Was checking my codex every single turn. And there were the (not so) pretty rolls...

I always forget to give my Terms veteran skills, but use them as if they have it. So mid game when I realise it I just pull an Initiate out of a squad to equad out the 15 points.

I have some pretty silly games.
One where i forgot to bring Shrike on (i think i remembered later on in the turn i hadn't rolled), and my opponent wouldn't let me bring him on, despite the fact it was a friendly game, i think nearly everyone else in the room would have been fine with it, but oh well. And rolling in that game didn't go well.
I can quite often lose focus in my games, watch the game next to me, talk to other people about other things and just do things in game that i shouldn't be doing, my fault really..

And Cracker worries about one game of bad rolls... god sir I suffer from the Curse of the 2's. I cannot stop rolling 2's - and every time I don't need them I get them. When playing as Marines this is very VERY aggrovating

I think the worst moves I've forgotten was Nobz having 3 attack base, so I was hitting with 3 attacks charging instead of 4 Then there was the Biker incident... somehow I forgot warbikers couldn't climb ruins and against my opponent, who knew nothing on the topic, we decided yes they could. I think it won me the game

The one and only time I took a boss on bike I bull charged a LR wanting to add a LR trophy of some type to his bike. Totally forgot about the 6s to hit since it moved 12 inches previous turn. Totally whiffed. But that turn ended up becoming on of the funniest/biggest WTF turns in the history of our club. My buddies SM literally ALL missed or didnt wound or if they did I rolled a bunch of 4s. Then his last ditch effort was a razorback with TL hbolter on it. It got 1 wound through so I figured hey hes going to make it. Nope, storm bolter hits twice, wounds twice and I rolled snake eyes

That storm bolter has been gold ever since

Forgetting to move my tanks onto the field during Dawn of War deployment, and losing the game because my anti tank wasn't coming in due to bad reserve rolls.

In another game, I had 15 terminators hit the field from drop pods, they all died to Tyranid Gargoyals (In one of those combats, I only took 7 wounds, rolled six 1s...)

Haha!

Well I'm glad it makes someone feel better

They even all had furious charge and the majority with lightning claws. It was a pure epic game.

This happened 2 weeks ago. I had a 30 man power blob sitting on an objective near my table edge. Now, the guys I usually play with had been trying for weeks to break the power blob (it's been the single most resilient thing in my force). 2 weeks ago, we played with a NECRON player for the first time. I figured hell, this game should be as easy as pie.

On turn 3, he moves a unit of Pariahs and a Necron lord within one foot of the power blob. I don't know the name of the exact powers or abilities, but one of them reduced my leadership to 7. The other one immediately forced a Morale check. I roll my morale check, a 9, which would have been fine had the Commissar's leadershp been unaffected. I execute one of my own Sergeants as a result, and re-roll the test. Another 9. I roll my 2D6 fall back. 10. The power blob runs off my table edge, destroying itself. Because of some Pariahs and a Necron lord.

Respect the 'Cron.

CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT!

I had a game where half-way through I realized I forgot to roll for the Red Thirst, and had some really bad dice-rolling until there were around 3 player turns left. After that, it was weird, around every die I rolled was a 5 or a 6, and through that, my Reclusiarch (one of my two remaining models, the other being a Sanguinary Priest) managed to survive some 180 ork boy hits in assault. After that I decided I had to name the guy for that.

In another game, my DC managed to pull off a great DS just outside of assault range, letting them charge in next turn. I soon learned that the Leman Russ can move and shoot its battle cannon, and it took out 3 of my 5-man squad.

Finally, it me (BA) vs CSM, the store lent me Mephiston to counter his Abaddon. His Abaddon dies from his own Daemon Weapon in assault against a single assault trooper, and Mephiston dies from Perils of the Warp. That was....interesting.

Our friend did that once with his daemons, he teleported them in, and literary forgot to move all of them. And whenever someone forgets to do anything with their models, we call it "Pulling A Conner".

I forget to issue orders sometimes, which really screws me up.
