Hi all. Just started painting my eldar army, so I figured I'd post pics as I went along. I'm new to painting models so I'm learning as I go.

Work continues on my Eldar host. Currently working on both of the DAVA serpents, as well as the Warlock on Jetbike.

Since the serpents are essentially the same as Eldrads ride, here are a couple pics of the warlock. I'm currently going down the Warlock on Grav Platform route since I'm not comfortable with trying to cut the metal models and trying to make em fit on a standard jetbike.

Top and bottom half of the platform primed, Warlock primed, still need to prime the catapults.

Now i just need to get em painted.

First off, the Wave Serpent looks great! What I did with my Farseer, I got A Vyper, made a platform that fitted the Farseer and glued it to the back of a Vyper instead of the weapon. still counts as a Jetbike though.

The only thing is, this'll get expensive if you want a whole unit of Jetbike Warlocks.

I've gotta say that I love the wave serpent also. If the rest of your army is even close to that, it'll look fantastic. I love the purple too in your scheme. And, as a side note, I think the army list itself is very good and well thought out. Makes me kind of wonder why I hadn't thought of it, though I run something pretty similar.

Some more pictures of my eldar army. The three DAVU serpents are now done. The one in front with the black "energy shield projectors"(dunno what they are actually called) is the ride for the 5 member DA squad along with Eldrad. The two in back with the blue projectors are the rides for the 10 man DA squads.

And here is the first war walker mostly done, prolly go back at some point and do some touchups/finishing up later. But that will prolly be later since my fire prisms and other 2 serpents arrived today =). Also its not based yet, but ill prolly do all the basing once i get everything assembled and painted.

And heres the first Dire Avenger I put together. One of the two exarchs in my army. I decided to use a different color scheme for my DA's,, instead of all Regal Blue, i used a Necron Abyss undercoat, and then used regal blue for the armor plates. IMO it makes im stand out better.

Not a huge Xenos fan but those are some pretty tanks - er, skimmers. I like where this thread is going.

I really like the purple and grey colour scheme - it's one I haven't seen done a lot. You've executed it very well. Delightful models!

I'm liking how rich that purple is. It almost seems metallic as well.....is this the case?

I don't know if its considered metallic or not. The color is called Grape Pearl and I picked it up from Hobby Lobby. Next time I'm there ill have to take a look at what section its in, cause now you have me curious to know lol.

Wow, been almost a year since I've updated this thread O.o. Anyhow got some new pics, most of my army is complete, and now I'm adding a Blood Angels successor chapter to the mix as well. A bunch of these are just redone shots of previous pictures, but inside a photo tent. I still need to do all the bases in these photos, was in a hurry to get them table ready, so not quite done with em all yet.
