Hi guys,
I'm new to Epic and it's good to see that there is so much enthusiasm for the game online. I'm looking for some feedback on my 3,000 point army list. I'll be playing using the official E:A rules and the Swordwind army list. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Aspect Warrior Warhost (4 stand of Dire Avengers, 4 stands of Striking Scorpions) - 300
Autarch - 75
4 Waveserpents - 200
Guardian Warhost - 150
Guardian Warhost (three weapon platforms) - 150
3 Support Weapons - 150
3 Wraithguard stands - 150
Windrider Troupe (6 Jetbike stands) - 200
Windrider Troupe (6 Jetbike stands) - 200
Windrider Troupe (6 Jetbike stands) - 200
Falcon Troupe - 250
Falcon Troupe - 250
Phantom Titan - 750
All of this comes in at just under 3,000 points. The list is based around those models that I already have which has largely determined my choice of units. I'm also aiming for a Saim-Hann theme, hence all of the jetbikes.
What do you guys think? Is there anything I definitely should include or anything I'm wasting points on?
Many thanks,
TLH.

Eldar have some really cool units. You have alot but the wrong mix IMO.
The Phantom Titan is a steal, so always good.
Jetbikes arent worth it. Shinning Spears are though.
Your long range firepower is lacking. If your going with the warhost stands you need some ranger support and preferably some nice WE shooting

'WE'?
I have lots of jetbikes but no Shining Spears, so I'm going to go with jetbikes for now.
What would you suggest for ranged support?

I would include an exarch or something in the aspect warrior warhost for the spare points, should fit right in.
You are also missing alot of AA or aircrafts, so you might be in trouble against some opponents.
A scorpion tank or two would also be good

First off have you seen this site for list building?
http://traitor-legion.appspot.com/
Its awesome!
Onto your lists. The naked guardians are really not going to do much but die! Maybe stick heavy weapons in there and they can sit on your blitz. Your other Guardians are walking, if you have 50 points spare by the static gate as they can then walk out of that. Or drop the upgrades for wave serpents so your entire army is super mobile and use the speed of the army to support lots of rolling assaults.
Shinning Spears are good at killing RA vehicles and dieing, period. That said I often use them.
The eldar aircraft are good, so if you have some I'd see if you can fit them in.

Bush? No, Eldar Ranger
|
For 3000 points the Phantom Titan is too expensive, I suggest 2 Revenants and 3 Nightwing because Eldar have the best flyers in the game. keep moving the revenants and use sustained fire only when there are no treats near them.
Eldar are very fragile, and need to start first. A warhost with the teleport ability is allways useful, better if they have also scout becouse if you put them behind balisks or Manticore they must move and cannot shoot indirectly..
One of the best advantage of the Eldar is the speed. Put firestorms in falcon troupe and max the prism troup, their shooting range is awesome combined with the pop-up ability. Remember: in this game you can win only by keeping your enemy far from you.
