Hey all. My name is Andrew, and I am currently stationed in Montana USA. I am a member of the USAF and an avid 40k fan. I began my journey into 40k at the behest of several individuals... all of whom left the game while I fell in love with the plastic crack. The journey started with necrons. I learned a valuable lesson here too. NEVER give your friend a good deal (40 bucks for 1700 pts worth) as he will just turn around and sell it when he decides he wants to play orks.

My journey had already lead me to my first real love in 40k. TAU!!! I LOVE EM XD. I quickly ammased 2500 points worth of tau and proceeded to get crushed in every game I played. I played tau for about 9 months, and then it happened. Every thing my 10yearoldina22yearoldsbody's heart could desire in an army. Space vikings!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Space wolves came out, I read the codex, next thing I know I have amassed almost 3500 points worth of the pups, and read every thread on this fine website, and others like it, that I could find on them. My second love. Then it happened... again... the dark eldar codex was released. Only this time I swore I would NEVER play them. Or the chaos forces either... Well here I am the proud and loving owner of 2300 points ,of dark eldar, and growing, and my space wolves fell to the whispers, and loving embrace of Grandfather Nurgle (fyi the only Chaos God I really find appealing). Well thats my 40k foray all the way to the present

So now onto my question about posting images.

I am a noob to posting battle reports. i have already done one w/o pictures of a 2000 point game with my dark eldar. I am trying to conclude that storyline with a battle repor,t of a game today, that includes pictures. I was trying to add in an image but it asks for a link to a website where the picture is. Can you guys recommend a good website, that is free, that I can use for this? Or better yet, suggest a method for pulling them straight from my computer to the post? Thanks

Welcome, welcome!

One of Dakka's awesome free features is that we provide unlimited free picture hosting, though ONLY for wargaming pics. If later you want to post a picture of yourself, or your cat, or something unrelated, you'll need to use a different hosting site.

You can upload photos using the "attachments" button at the bottom of the new post screen. You can also click on "Gallery" up at the top of the page to go to the gallery and upload images there. We have the best gallery software on the web; allowing easy and quick loading of multiple images at a time, zooming, linking, etc.

Straight up kabal shooty. I always field my haywire blaster Pain engine in 1500+. And in 2000 I include my Kabal Queen (succubus) and a blood bride escort, when she feels like waltzing the field of battle with her hubby. I found that I have absolutely no use for my 10 Incubi. They always preformed well. But I found I got just as good mileage, if not better, out of my Trueborn with carbines and cannons. I never spam or min max. Everything I have fits in a nice 2500 point semi competitive Raider flotilla list. At that point lvl I run my Archon with a WWP for my talos and whyches+succubus to come out of. It works out well. Ask necrondude XD. Hes one of my frequent opponents. So far the Shatterd Blade Kabal has under its belt 10/1/4 (w/l/d) for its record.

But Ultimately I want to be able to run a whych cult, gang raid, and homonuculi coven list aswell. But all in all I think I prefer my Kabal list.
