So where I live (right next to a large body of water) is really bad for high humidity.

When it comes to priming / spray painting models it's hit or miss if the paint isn't going to spider... My question is this...

Is there a safe way to make a painting booth in ones basement? I have two windows I can open, and two fans for air circulation. In your guys opinion, is it still safe to create a spray painting station in my basement?

During the late spring / early summer months it gets pretty humid, so I do have a dehumidifier in the basement to get rid of the sodding moister in the air.

Need some opinions on the matta.

Thanks Dakka.

So after searching the net I found the answer to my dilemma... Two fans, and a deflector for the window with the air moving out... Overspray could hit my french neighbours car... Which I don't mind seeing as he's french...

is it hard to make? i've thought of it too but where my window is it would hit my missus car which would result in a few problems for me...

I think the last decisive engagement the French won was the American Revolutionary War, so I try and give them as little crap as possible.
