I swear, I would NEVER have bought DoW2 (i bought it online and downloaded it) if I knew it was delivered through that crappy Steam platform. If DoW3 is released via steam, I'll simply never own it. The amount of times I try to play and it's just slow downloading or somesuch is really annoying.

Anyway, can you play DoW2 without having to login to that sh*tty system they call steam.

Why all the hate on steam bro? It has an offline mode.

If you're having trouble it's probably because of Windows Live not steam. Try Retribution, which does not use WL.

I'm alright with steam, but sometimes it won't let you play in offline mode. Sometimes it says "login information not stored on this computer". Or other times it just takes FOREVER to connect. But once you can actually play your games, it is very smooth. Sometimes I just give up on it though and play something else while steam is loading some pointless update that does nothing but take up my computer's memory.

Haven't had any problems with steam myself.
