I am putting in my order for a cryx battle group, and I was wondering if it would be smart to upgrade the slayer to the erebus right away, or to magnetize the slayer and not get the erebus upgrades until I buy a slayer kit? I want to keep costs down, can any experience cryx player help me out?

If you are able to magnetize I see no reason not to. Regardless whether or not you buy Erebus immediatly.

The thing with Erebus is that, as far as I know, the rules are not yet known though.

Yep. You'll have to wait for the Erebus release, or at least Wrath, before we know exactly what he does.

We do know (or at least it is highly likely) that some of his rules will apply specifically to Lord Scaverous, the new warcaster in Wrath. His fluff also suggests soul (token) based abilities, possibly Soul Taker and Ghost Shield.

The helljack known as Erebus serves Lord Exhumator Scaverous, murdering all in its path as it eagerly gathers souls for its master. The lives Erebus has claimed leave it steeped in the detritus of a thousand deaths. This spectral effluvium envelops the machine, repelling any who try to strike its blackened carapace.

I'll be picking one up as soon as it’s in the UK I wouldn't magnetize it though as I think it deserves a separate colour scheme which wouldn't work for me. You might be better off waiting till erebus is released till you do your order though or you'll have to pay P&P twice

We love what we love. Reason does not enter into it. In many ways, unwise love is the truest love. Anyone can love a thing because. That's as easy as putting a penny in your pocket. But to love something despite. To know the flaws and love them too. That is rare and pure and perfect.
