Growlin' Guntrukk Driver with Killacannon

I am writing some fluff for my armies but wanted to make sure that if I placed their homeworld in that region of space I wouldn't be treading on any canon. I checked all the 40k maps I could find and nothing seems to be occupying the area of space west of the SOEW but there is so much out there that I feel I need to check with somebody with more "know" than myself.
