Since you randomly select the spell the ring uses, can you swap it out for the signiture spell of the slected lore?
I plan to use the ring to get Wissans Wildform and use it to buff my units. It will be useless if I cant select the signiture spell though.

I do not believe so since most lores specifically state a wizard may choose to swap one spell for the signature spell. I think they would make it so you can't choose sig spells for items on purpose on the fact that some of those spells are darn good for certain armies and allowing it access to the spell would break it to a point.
