When Blue Scribes roll for their "random spell" each turn, do you roll a D7 to include the signature spell? Or do you roll a D6 and have the option of using the signature? Or is the signature simply off limits to Blue Scribes?
Also... These are more strategy questions but-
Do you find Scribes to be worth their points? Do you get at least 1 PD/turn from them on average?
Also... How often do you just find a bit of terrain to hide them behind for the whole game?

Blue Scribes are really a power dice syphon for your level 4 who is usually Fateweaver. Without a wizard level you are casting that spell on just dice so its not worth it so just use them to get a dice bonus.
How many dice you get out of them depends on how many spells your opponent casts usually is 1 or two dice since you want to dispel some of the spells.
I think it might be a d7 now. Codex was designed for 7th.

D6 Signature, off limits is how I've played it.

I thought the Spell you roll for the Blue Scribe each turn goes off at the lower level spell. Do you have to still use dice to get the spell off?

Yes. Its a bound spell, essentially, and bound spells need dice now

Yeah, I never thought about it. But since they got no spell level, Avariel summed it up pretty well. Would it be too powerful if they were auto-succeed with no power dice? You have to randomly roll which spell. But I guess that would be too good.
